Created in 2004, it focuses on developing programs for youth and their coaches that focus on mentoring, supporting teamwork, sportsmanship and sense of pride and accomplishment, and funding youth sports teams with equipment, fees and coaching development.
The Foundation supports youth sports endeavors in any organized sport in a number of ways including providing equipment, tournament entry fees, coaching/mentoring development or skills development. Special consideration is given to youth sports organizations that have a high need for monetary or mentoring support.
Annual fundraising events, including a Golf Scramble and Trivia Night, are held to fund activities have raised tens of thousands of dollars in our inaugural years. Expanding fundraising efforts and mentoring programs to benefit more youth organizations is a current focus of the Foundation.
